Following a huge update at the start of the year, TFT Patch 14.2 focuses on bringing the Set 10 Remix Rumble meta in line. The total number of changes was much less than Patch 14.1 but did include three reworks and needed nerfs to overperformers. No balance changes for Set Revival mode were added but the expanded bag sizes were reduced. Four and five-cost units now have a bag size of 20 while one, two, and three-cost units will have 50 copies in the shared pool.

Game design director Stephen “Mortdog” Mortimer dropped the early Teamfight Tactics Patch 14.2 notes through the Patch Rundown. No changes were applied to the official notes.

Here are the TFT Set 10 Patch 14.2 notes, according to Riot.

Patch 14.2 TFT system changes

Both the Silver Symphony and Decrescendo Portals were removed in Patch 14.2, while Curel Pact will no longer be offered in the Radiant Blessing Portal. A bug that existed within Headline units, blocking the wrong Headliners, has been resolved. And for players who were buying Headliners to “reset the shop” and possibly get the same Headliner with a different trait, your rule-bending days have come to an end.

Starting in TFT Patch 14.2, buying a Headliner will no longer affect distribution, according to Mortdog. Scoreboard notifications were touched up and will properly display the correct streak length at five and eight wins. And balance changes were applied to AD casters and carriers. The recommended attack damage item for a carry is now Red Buff, as opposed to Edge of Night. Red Buff is also the recommended item for an attack damage caster, along with Hand of Justice over Bloodthirster.

Riot has also added a Randomizer Loadout button that will allow players to let the game decide their Tactician, Arena, and Boom. the button has a dice logo and is found in the lobby screen for both PC and mobile.

Patch 14.2 trait TFT balance changes

Only a handful of traits were adjusted for Patch 14.2. Disco got a slight nerf while both Punk and Mosher were buffed.

Patch 14.2 Cosmetics and Lunar Festival pass

Patch 14.2 removes Chibi Headliner K/DA POP/STARS Kai’Sa from the Treasure Realms, with Riot retroactively granting all base Booms for players who unlocked base Chibis through Collector’s Bounty. Base Booms for base Chibis will come at the end of Prestige Dragon Fist Lee Sin’s Treasure Realm stay. Players who unlocked the base Chibi from the Prestige tier Treasure Realms and then purchased the corresponding Boom will get a refund for RP spent on the Boom.

Lunar Festival

The Lunar Festival-themed cosmetics will run from Patch 14.2 to the end of Patch 14.3 on Feb. 22. Players can purchase the Lunar Festival pass for 575 RP. Contents include three new Booms, Lantern Prancie, the Prancie’s Retreat Arena, and 200 additional Treasure Tokens. Free-to-play players can earn 100 Treasure Tokens, Star Shards, and Emotes. There is also a Remix Rumble Act Two pass that costs 1,295 RP.

New TFT Chibi Champions

Chibi Sona will arrive through Patch 14.2, available for direct purchase at 1,900 RP. She comes with her own Boom. Sona also has a festive Mythic variant as a Star Content drop from Treasure Realms called Chibi Guqin Sona which comes with a new finisher. Chibi Porcelain Lux is slated to drop through Patch 14.3. But players can pick up Chibi Prestige Dragon Fist Lee Sin with the release of Patch 14.2.
